BMW Motorrad is all set to launch the wide awaited G 310 R and the G310 GS adventure motorcycle in the Indian motorcycle market in a few hours. Now according to our sources, the BMW G 310 R is going to be priced at Rs 2.70 lakh, and the G310 R for Rs 3.40 lakh, ex-showroom. If this comes to true, then we are sure the other premium entry-level motorcycle manufacturers have a lot of work to do.

The BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS that is present across important centers in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Kochi. BMW Motorrad's upcoming dealerships in Chandigarh and Kolkata will start accepting bookings of the motorcycles post-launch.



FEATURE

The two BMW motorcycles, R and GS are powered by the same engine, same chassis, but with different end games. The R is a naked-class motorcycle, while the GS is more of an adventure-tourer. The engine is a 312.2cc, single-cylinder which churns out 28Nm and 34bhp. The engine is liquid-cooled and fuel-injected and mounted 'backward' so the fuel enters from the front with the exhaust port at the back. The bike gets USD forks with a preload adjustable rear monoshock as standard, with ABS.
